Inukshuk

We had the bikes we rented yesterday until mid day so we went for another ride around Stanley Park this morning. The weather was a far cry from yesterday, cloudy, windy and threatening to rain.  Made better cycling conditions, cooler and less people to get in our way.  I did take the camera, but forgot to take it's memory card!

Photographed this later in the day once the sun had come out on my way to Safeway. The Inukshuk, made from grey granite, stands 20 feet tall and weighs 70,000 pounds. A legacy of the 1986 Expo and inspiration for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games logo.
