Almost...

...ready. I love poppies when they are in bud with their heads bowed. I've banned the boys from playing footy in the back garden at the moment as these are so delicate and they tend to kick all the heads off!

I didn't work today, just a bit of cleaning at home while looking after my eldest. He's managed to eat 2 French Fancies and a bread stick and has drunk 3 cups of tea and a McDonald's milkshake today - so I think he's starting to improve at last.

I spent the evening at area sports with my youngest. He was running in the under 10s 80m shuttle relay and they got through to the final. In the final they ran out of their skins and were in the lead by a good distance until the final changeover when they dropped the baton! They finished last :-( I felt so sorry for them, they really deserved to win but it's just one of those things.
