Cake decorating fun

Fun times today, Ede and his mummy came round and the boys decorated cakes together :) Lots of sprinkles everywhere!!

This cake decorating meant that I had to tidy the kitchen table - so Steve is particularly pleased about that. We can actually see table now!

The boys played with fresh playdough after they'd done their cakes, but by the time I'd made proper salt dough for them they were too busy out in the garden, standing in the paddling pool with their wellies on, filling their boots, so to speak.

Dinner time now so short and sweet blip entry.

Oh yes - I must note that Ben has sat on his new toilet seat TWICE today, whether he's done a wee or not is debatable but it's a massive step in the right direction!

And he also asked to phone his gran and his grandad so we phoned both of them up and he had a good long chat to both of them :) Lots of "yes, yes, yes, no, TRAIN!" (If you've seen "Up" just think of the dogs and their obsession with "SQUIRREL!!") Dad said it was like 20 questions with all the answers being "yes"....

And last but not least, a little edit to add this link from Steve's blip. Ben just fell asleep. Not quite how you'd imagine though.....!
