Cables

There's a quite impressive amount of electricity going in to this house I spotted on a detour in Magalas this morning. I've learnt to live with and to love the effects of the cables strung from house to house, along walls and across the streets. Sometimes they're painted to match the wall - here with long winter shadows - and sometimes they're just flaunted like this. No shadows today, just hot and humid weather.

I was looking for something brighter and more celebratory for daughter E's birthday today, but nothing looked very bright. She won't get a chance to look at this anyway as today she has a very long working day (but penblwydd hapus if you do, E!). She'll be here in a couple of weeks' time - I can't wait!
