Our nook

There is a place that the girls and I like going to. This is where we sit and have 3 to 4 hour long conversations about nothing. There is a corner with 4 wooden benches that's just perfect for the 4 of us. We order a drink and we catch up. We talk about work. We talk about our colleagues. We talk about relationships. We talk about our friends. We reminisce about the past. We people watch. We usually arrive right after our dinner when the place is still somewhat empty when we can be sure that our little nook is unoccupied. After an hour or two, the place is packed with people sitting inside and outside. The boba is quality. The line forms out the door. This is where people watching gets interesting as eyes would envy our little nook. By the time we leave, the atmosphere is at its peak. But we leave. Because spending 4+ hours at a café would be a little ridiculous wouldn't you say?
