Photo Books
At a bit of a loss for inspiration today. However, I noted in one of the forums some blippers talking about what to do with their blips other than leaving them in digital form.
For what it's worth - I collect mine and put them in a photobook. I started just leaving a black background to emulate the blip site, and copying and pasting my write up along with the date to give a record. I've had a number of comments from people - who have been kind enough to show an interest - that the write up is often as interesting as the picture. It adds rather than detracts!
Some photobook producers allows a picture to be set as a background, also I have started using a landscape image as a background and dropping other themed images onto it - with a shadow etc. This gives me a way of showing my images that weren't blipped.
Sometimes I add your lovely comments!
There we go. I don't think blip central will want to invest huge amounts in printing equipment - as I've heard suggested. However - with such a huge user base - what about negotiating special offers/discounts with a photobook company? Just a thought!
