Learning From Macro

Of all the weeds, this is my favourite. it pulls out of the ground very easily, but I love the tiny, 15mm, pink flowers and just can't bear to remove them!

I am amazed! Until tonight I just saw Herb Robert as a little pink weed, but, thanks to macro I have discovered that it has a silky sheen, just like a big, expensive orchid. Who'd have thought?

Made The Mother's day today by giving her a lift to an evening of talks on Red Squirrels. I was amused to find she had printed off one of my blips of a squirrel to show people! Mothers!

Edit: I don't know why, but this flower is pink in PS on my laptop's callibrated (Kodak) screen but is lilac on the same screen when uploaded onto Blip. Does anyone know why?
