Ready to Launch

I love macro photography at times. It can be oh so frustrating when you have a 1mm of dof to play with but when you get it right it's very satisfying. This is nearly right, I'd have liked a little more definition in they eye but apart from that it's pin sharp and the colours on the body have really came out well. Frustrating shot to take, trying to do 1:1 macro handheld with such a small subject is not the easiest the slightest shake of the arm and the shot is a mile out of focus.

With the weather crap again tomorrow, no doubt another macro blip coming. Found a snail tonight as well, hopefully he'll still be around tomorrow ready to be blipped!
