Cairo Cab

Back to eating alone tonight (which I don't mind at all). Delicious dinner of hummus, aubergine dip, and a kind of soft cheese with honey, served with amazing Egyptian hot layered bread, washed down with an ice cold beer and then a Turkish coffee. All of this eaten outside with the air thick with a heady mix of shisha pipes, Arabic music and the call to prayer from the mosques. This was the taxi ride home to the hotel. A slightly easier day for me tomorrow as my co-trainer is giving both input sessions in the morning. Gives me time in the school to get lots of my photocopying done for next week's sessions. Then, after observing 3x40 min lessons in the afternoon, conducting feedback and helping trainees prepare their lessons for next week, it's the weekend! And countdown till Bb arrives here next Wednesday :-)
