Sports Day

Today was Becky's sports day at school. I didn't manage to get there for all of it (for anyone thinking - BAD MUMMY, I had told here I wouldn't managed to get there for the first half, and yes, I do feel guilty), but enjoyed about 45 minutes of a lovely, happy, whole school sports day. I thought the whole thing was brilliantly organised - 7 events as segments of a circle so teams moved round to the next segment and watching parents followed. The children's performance was timed/measured/counted and poitns then allocated to each team at each event.

The events were the water race; obstacele race; hockey dribble, egg & spoon; standing long jump; score a goal and hurdles plus a final relay race.
