Winter Aconite

The middle of the day was so warm (16ºC) that I went for a wander around the garden, which was just as well, otherwise I might have missed the winter aconite flowers. They are at their best right now. I was delighted with them because last year there was only one flower, but at present there are fifteen, with more tiny buds to coming on. I love the bright yellow cups with the green ruffs.

Large
