quiet reflections

Amazingly we observed a loon on Lake Frederick this afternoon. We have never seen one there before. It also made it's loon call.

Also observed were many geese, grebes, a few ducks, a heron, a pileated woodpecker, wild turkeys, countless swallows and two Barred owls (two were calling back and forth, only one was seen).

After a sunny morning the sky became overcast, it was cool, and there was a breeze.

Z quit fishing because he was chilled.

I'm glad any time I can capture a fun picture to share with you. It's like showing you a spot of magic.
