Meds

The necessary evil. After pursuing the drs and telling them that YES my son is ill, I'm not some dumb mom.. I was told that kai has a double inner ear infection and the doc was pretty concerned about the visibly swollen lymph nodes in his neck. Which the doc in the er brushed off. Apparently 5days is a border time with fevers... Where they may or may not mean a sign of more serious infections.. that's why I was gettin brushed off so to speak. The fever wasn't what concerned me..it was the constant loose stool, the length the fever had been present, the fact that kai was beginning to get dehydrated, didn't want to eat or really drink anything, and slept all the time, and was just a bump on a log. Today is 5 days after I initially took him to the emergency room. But its 7-8 days after symptoms initially presented.

Anyway..just proves that moms really do know their children and know when its more than "just a virus" (aka we don't know)

It's a hot sunny day out. 88 and humid. Wonderful! Well maybe not the humidity but the temps are :)
