Summer's Coming

What a beautiful day in Ottawa today. The sun was shining enough that there was no jackets needed. We all sat in the porch soaking in the rays, while the kids drew beautiful pictures.

This is the weirdest country in the world that it can be absolutely melting outside and there is still snow on the ground, well I suppose when you get about 4ft of the stuff it does take time to go away.

Anyway, the Corona and the limes where out with some anti-pasta (artichokes hearts, black and green olives, goat cheese with garlic and herbs, bruschetta and ciabatta bread) which my husband done perfectly. Now it's my turn to do the pasta dish. I am doing Penne with olive oil, rosemary, oregano, basil, thyme and garlic (off-course). Then I am going to toss in some Scallops and Tiger Shrimp mmmmmmmmm, bet you are all jealous.
