Sitting Very Still

This blipper likes the sort of bird that doesn't fly away, however close the camera gets.

It is part of a set of different motifs along a gate and handrail on Bridge Road in Colinton. It was designed by Phoebe Anna Traquair, a resident of Colinton and 'one of the most versatile contributors to the late C19 British Arts and Crafts movement'.

The bird is only a taster as I hope to show the more elaborate motifs when the lighting is better.
