What is it with some folk?

Arranged to meet a fairly eclectic mix of folk tonight. And the good news was that it was in a bar (particuarly favoured by a blipper on a Friday night) and we all had a seat (it's a wee place so that was a real bonus). However one of the company didn't like the place - and as such we all had to move....to the place that has this ugly carpet....because, it's cheaper.

I suppose that we have all got friends like that - but I am going to make a stance in future, if I am comfortable why the hell should I move. (This has been an on-going compliant against this person amongst us all for some considerable time)

Plus there is a reason that I didn't want to go to Ugly Carpet pub....the people that I try to avoid! And guess what? there they were. However smiles and pleasantries were exchanged (how civilised)
