The last day

Today is our last day of the holiday so we decided to go to the aqaurium and waterworld in Newquay. Waterworld is next to the zoo we visited the other day. I was really looking forward to taking harvey on the water slides as when we used to go swimming every week he loved it, well he hated it! He kept saying NO to everything and i practicly forced him on the water slide thinking he would get into it eventually but he didnt. Thirty minutes of him moaning was enough and we decided to give up and get out. Amelia seemed to enjoy it and looked very cute in her swimming costume. I think when we get home i will have to enrole in some swimming classes for Harvey to get him back into it.

The aquarium was next and it was ok but not very big and didnt have much in it. We got their just in time to see the octopus being fed which was amazing to see. They did have one of those walk through under water tunnels though with a huge turtle and a couple of shark in the tanks above. Harvey had a tub of sea animals from the shop with sharks, dolphins, crab, lobster etc and he thought that was great. The aquarium is right next to the beach and so we spent a bit of time on the beach before we headed home for some tea and to pack our stuff and get the kids ready for bed. Long day travelling for us tommorrow.
