Haddington 7's

Went down to watch the rugby at Neilson Park in Haddington again today. Watched Haddington get beaten by Jed Forest in the quarter final of the SHE Cup. Then watched some of the 7's that followed on from the cup game.

I used to think 7's were played in nice weather where the spectators could come along and socialise at the side of the pitch and enjoy the rugby. Today most of the socialising was done in the beer tent due to some lovely showers of hail. Unfortunately I was out at the other end during one such shower and got this shot of people not watching the game as they had to turn away from the hail!!!

The white length is where the cricket is played during the summer and is astro turf.
