Relief....

.....Karen suffers from sporadic vertigo; comes and goes. Unfortunately, it struck when we were 6800 feet up Stockhorn. She suddenly stopped in her tracks and got wobbly legs. Fair play to her though, she composed herself, gritted her teeth and kept walking to the top. This is a somewhat relieved Karen as she grabbed the mountain top marker at 7100 feet.

I don't suppose having a few pints last night was the best preparation for a thinned atmosphere.....at least, that's my explanation for blowing hard as we made it atop.

Later we dropped down into the main corry for some swimming in the lake. Great day in the Alps in 25c temperatures.
