View from my window

...just kidding. This is Mt Hood as seen from one of the city parks. It is fifty five miles east of Portland, over 11,000 ft tall, and part of the Cascade Range which runs from southern British Columbia, through Washington and Oregon to the tip of California. There is summer skiing on the its Palmer Glacier.
