Retina burn

I couldn't resist - it looked so inviting.

My focussing eye hurt for about half an hour - the white spot has now gone fortunately.

Weird day - weather has been changeable in the extreme. Went out on the motorbike - sunshine, rain and a hailstorm in 2 hours! No pubs open to eat at.

Came home - did a curry, sat on the sofa and finished a book - made me cry (true story about a foster carer of a tragically abused young girl - heartbreaking)

Then got the camera out as the weather bucked up again - 256 photos later (loads of birds and a particularly fat sparrow - I thought he was going to be my blip!) and then the sun started sinking and this shot appeared.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow - photofest at Whitchurch - the "Big Breakfast" - hundreds of classic motorbikes and bikers converge at a truck stop for a bacon butty and mug of tea, whilst admiring everyones vehicles - fingers crossed for a clear day!
