Poppies

One of the many great things about living in Dunbar is the profusion of poppies every summer. I love the contrast between their oxidised red and the bruised purple-grey clouds: this could hardly be more redolent of summer in the East of Scotland. I had a wee moment of oneness with the world, walking with the dog to the beach.

Greece in a couple of days time - I imagine the colour palette will be a little less muted than this.
