Freda the Frog

Thought I would pot some little geraniums today as a friend was kind enough to give me some & think they would look much better than the weeds that are currently thriving! I asked my hubby to bring me the opened bag of compost from down the side of our house, apart from the snails that were stuck to the side (that was bad enough), when I put my lovely little pink trowel into the bag something moved!!! I squealed like a mad woman & ran for the hills!!! Of course hubby had something to say but I can't repeat it!! When we calmed down him & his sister cut the bag completely open to find this little specimen. I had visions of a giant tarantula or something coming out but no just this little, well rather large actually, frog. As you can tell I'm a bit of a scaredy cat & I'm sure MrsUnremarkable will have something to say on the subject!!!

If any of you are experts on frogs & recognise what type it is we would be very grateful.
