Minimum Switch...

I still call it 'switching it!' even though the switch transaction has all but been replaced by Visa Debit which I always feel could be misconstrued as using a credit card.

Anyway, I tend to only use cash when I need to. The weekly ticket on a monday morning bus is one of these 'need to' situations.

Does anyone else have hangups about using Switch/VisaDebit for small transactions. I reckon, if they let you do it, it's fair game.

I had to pay for a photo I printed in ASDA today and asked Mrs TFP if she wanted to pay for the 29p total with my card. She said she'd be affronted.

I just happily pay for any amount with my card because I consider it in these situations, the same as cash.
