city of rocks, idaho

today began a whirlwind of the west. flying to salt lake city to meet my brother and drive across the country, his return to michigan after a year living in northern california. with a dose of adventure thrown in as well.

we were lucky to meet up with two lovely friends of ours and spend most of our week with them! the first stop? city of rocks state park in idaho. a strange yet beautiful landscape that rises out of nowhere.
