The hand that rocks the cradle...

...is the hand that rules the world.

I've been at my mum's place for the last few days but have now brought her back home with me for a few more days holiday.

I told her earlier that I love her hands and she looked at me as if I was crazy. "What, these gnarly old things?!"

Well, yes. I see my own hands get more and more like them every day. I showed her and she had to confess I was right.

No bad thing I think.
