Pure Gold
You have seen her before and you will hopefully see her again, if she lets me, but only on special occasions and/or special blip days. These are her rules, not mine. This my lovely daughter and of course the attractive man beside her is her dad, or for anyone who is having a slow day, its me.
With regard to the special blip day thing, the timing couldn't have been worse because tomorrow is 200 and today is 199. That sucks!! Maybe a pause at 199 until something decent can be captured worthy of the blipday?
Another proud day in a long list of proud parenting days. Today we were at Holyrood Palace for the Duke of Edinburgh Gold award presentations and what a fabulous morning we had. The rest of the week is forecast to hose it down here but today we had the sunshine big time.
For those not familiar with the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme, it is a programme of self motivated activities, learning, community service and unaided expeditions over a number of years leading to the final Gold certificate for those who stick with it for the duration.
For the successful recipients, you get to meet the Duke of Edinburgh, briefly, but for some reason, photographing him at the event is expressly forbidden. Shame.
Anyway, I am more than happy to show you father and daughter in the sunshine. Could I get my chest out any further do you think?
Edit, A little extra tonight as I am feeling generous, a link to Mrs Klicker with Daughter.Couldn't leave her out now could I.
