A Muse of Fire

This is one of the most magical apps on my (magical) iPad. My wife remarked today that it's all she's heard since I bought it. It is Morphwiz, created by Jordan Rudess, the amazing keyboard player with Dream Theater. I really can hardly stop playing it.

It's a wonderful demonstration of how technology can be harnessed to create totally new musical instruments - and even to blend sensory modalities, as this blends the auditory and visual.
