Summer Fun

This morning we packed for a day at the lake and then headed to the grocery store to get some stuff for a picnic lunch. Once we were all set, we picked up Cody and Liam from their sleepover and met Cassie, Addi and Ryen at the lake. The kids had a fun few hours there digging in the sand and playing in the lake. The fun had to come to an end to head back and take Cody home and take Loren to batting practice (for All Stars) and Liam to Gymnastics. Seems that summer hasn't slowed down their hectic schedule!

In the evening we had a surprise planned. We decided to let the boys have a kitten from Cassie's cat. She brought the cute little fluffy guy over at about 9 pm when we were having a late dinner and the boys were thrilled and very surprised. We've picked the name 'Jango' for him. We have two cats with Star Wars names, so we went for a third Star Wars name. Named after Jango Fett. :D Welcome Jango!!!
