How was I ever supposed to get homesick!

The last week has got progressively stormier & wetter in equal measure.

Mexico seems to cope as well w/this kind of heavy rain as we do back in Ireland & the UK w/a little bit of snow.

The place seems to go that little bit crazier.

The pavements become treacherous, you have to slow down to an old man shuffle, while avoiding being drenched by cars throwing up mini-tsunamis of filthy water from the (briefly) flooded streets.

The drivers, however, seem to take the rain as a cue to panic and drive w/even less caution than normal. Wild!

A very relaxing day, spent idling and mall-strolling, w/a spot of dinner before getting caught out by this heavy weather once again.

Anyway we survived and are safely inside now. A movie to end another pleasant day.

Note to self: Start looking for a spot of work on the morrow.
