tantallon sunset

well, i did say there would be alot of beach blips, and it has rather become this weekend's theme. however, another fantastic time spent on a couple of beaches today. a surf during the afternoon in the sunshine and then a few hours wandering around what is my favourite east lothian beach. i love weekends spent barefoot!

another blip lesson learned today - as, for once, in my short life on here (although I see i've already lost my L plates - bring them back!), i have had to make a choice between a selection of images i liked. an image i really wanted to upload was a shot of a wonderful little vw replica van and tipi i spied this afternoon. an absolutely lovely couple let me take some pics of it - true glamping!

thanks to encouragement from you after Friday's landscape blip, i've decided on this sunset shot looking across the sea to Tantallon Castle. it was a truly spectacular sunset and one of those evenings accompanied by red skies and the sound of waves crashing, where you just can't help but feel your soul fill with good things and relaxation. i fear i haven't done the scene justice, but i hope to have captured some of that warmth and peace at least.
