A thousand new paths

Japanese garden - Kew Gardens

I was off work this week and the weather was good so we decided to trek across London to Kew. We hadn't been before and I really loved it. It was great to go on a week day as it wasn't very busy. We saw a pea hen with four chicks and a fantastic peacock in full plumage. I really liked the calmness of this zen garden. The gravel raking looked painstaking but it really is calming to look at.

Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were. But without it we go nowhere. Carl Sagan
