Sunny Summer Sunday

We've not had nearly enough of these this year, so it was lovely to spend the day with friends and family, catching up and catching some rays.

Am reading Caitlin Moran's new book "How to be a Woman" at the moment - which is absolutely brilliant and recommended reading for any woman - and plenty of men too for that matter. Superb - a seriously powerful message with tons of belly laughs, several of which were so loud they scared the neighbourly cat! A work of joyful genius.

I chose this shot tonight - which is I admit pretty over-processed - cos it kind of summed up the summery, bright, shimmery, fun day!
