sixty-five

my lovely mother-in-law, audrey, is sixty-five today...she has been in hospital for the past fortnight after having a mini stroke, so we went in to see her today to cheer her up and give her lots of birthday love. she's doing really well and improving every day - but it's so horrible leaving her in hospital especially on her birthday. she is always particularly pleased to see the girls and they were all over her today making her feel more like 'granny' than she has done recently. it's going to be a slow recovery...but she'll get there. happy birthday audrey! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I'm just catching up on the tennis just now having recorded it and avoided all media who might give the winner away. it's very exciting - at the moment rafa is two sets down and starting to make a come back. c'mon rafa!
