Red shed, river and spot the pukeko!

Travis Wetland, late afternoon. Lovely sunny day after a hard frost. The ground stayed frozen for so long. I was weeding and the ground had to be broken with a hoe to get a hand fork into it.

Pukeko wading across the stream caught my eye. The water is a lot shallower after the liquefaction put up by the quake.
