Montreal's heart

The Mont Royal is what I consider the heart of Montreal, at least the Montreal I know and live in. It is probably just a hill in the middle of the city to some, but we call it La Montagne, the mountain, because to us it is big. In summertime full of life, joy, laziness and basking in the sun. In winter full of sliders of all kinds (skis, toboggan, and gauche walkers.) When I come back to Montreal from somewhere else, seeing the Mont Royal means I am arriving home.
