Edam Cheese!

I went to Edam today. Not so much as a tourist, but to visit our good friends Robin and Gill who live in London but since last year they also have a great place in Edam.

For those who don't know: Edam is the town that the Edam cheese is named after. And they have a cheese market too. It's all a bit of a show nowadays but it shows how this worked in the past. No 'performance' today but we did see this cheese carrying thing. Two people would carry it and they would run around with an amount of cheese like it is shown here.
