Paddling Pool

Today was mainly hot and sunny for a change. I think it's the second day of summer I have experienced so far this year! H's Daddy had a long lie, whilst I was up early with her, having slept together in the spare room. After her lunchtime nap, H's Daddy blew up the paddling pool that was delivered a few days ago. Of course, as soon as he did, the sun disappeared and it looked likely to rain.

Whilst I was at the supermarket I got a text from hubby with a picture of H in her swimsuit in the paddling pool - the sun had reappeared and she was loving it. It's her first time in a paddling pool and she had great fun, dancing and splashing around. I rushed home from Asda as it was starting to get cold.

After we brought her in (which of course she didn't want to do), she was shivering like mad, but had a temperature of 39.9. So she has had some Calpol and we will be keeping an eye on her tonight. She has had a runny nose all day and hasn't quite been herself all week really, so I hope she doesn't get worse. She is hoping for another day of splashing tomorrow!
