Beach Party!!

Today we got up and the weather was beautiful so Daddy suggested we go to Ayr beach after swimming lessons. The kids were delighted. We arrived at the beach around 11.30am and it was gorgeous. Jessica hated standing on the sand, she didn't like the feel and refused to leave the blanket!! Megan, John and Jessica were rolling in the sand and then down at the water to wash it off and then rolling the sand again and then down to the water to wash it off. This went on for hours. Daddy then went to get the tennis rackets out the boot of the car and then..... locked the keys in the boot of the car!! Dohhhhh!! We had to ring Granny and Papa to come to the rescue and drive to our house to collect the spare key for the car and then drive to Ayr. Not the relaxing day they had planned!! Fortunately we were in no hurry to leave the beach so there was no real harm done but ohh I would have had a rollicking if I had done it, don't you think???

The kids are all knackered but have still managed to play out since we got back although there wasn't much sun in Windy Valley where we live!!

I took lots of pictures but here is Johnny again as I like this shot best!!

Katie is 4 tomorrow so I think she may be the blip tomorrow!!! Can't believe it where have these 4 years gone??
