Feeling Tart-y

Our friends and neighbors came back yesterday evening from a whole week away in Duck, NC -- they'd brought our youngest daughter G along with them. From all accounts they had a wonderful time playing in the sun and in the water, eating a great many wonderful sounding things including crab salads, paella, watermelon and avocado, sauteed peaches, and whatnot...

G and her bff N came back nut-brown from being at the beach every day while they were away, or biking, or digging holes in the sand "to China".

It was noticeably quiet while she was away - but Ms. Chatterbox has let it be known that she is back!

But also, this morning G cooked the breakfast scrambled eggs all by herself. Which very nearly made me faint.

They brought back wonderful ripe strawberries from NC, which had me feeling all tarty. Hence, what you see on this blip...
