Zapcat Racing!

Took a toodle down to Ocean Terminal today for the Zapcat Grand Prix racing out in the Western Harbour of the docks. Zapcats are wee power boats and they can certainly move. Order of the day was Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 and 2x teleconverter, which on the D90 gives 600mm of zoom to play with and you certainly needed that. This was my favourite though, mega slow shutter speed panning with the boat. Used the camera on a slack tripod for support. I reckon this gives the best impression of the speed!

Too nice a day now to be out taking more pics, today is all about shots, out the back with the dogs and a laptop and a few beers...
