Night light
What looks like one of my mother's old containers for raspberries is actually a solar-powered night light for the garden.
As you would expect, it takes a good 6-8 hours of decent sunshine for it to emit a feeble (but comforting) glow for a couple of hours after dark.
Except, its rubber seals are not quite as good as they should be so it now flashes like crazy. Not quite so comforting...
