Star Gazing

My first attempt at photographing stars. I plan to explore this area in the future. Surprisingly, I got Polaris dead in the middle of frame, even tho I couldn't see it thru my viewfinder. I would have done a longer exposure, but I couldn't remember how to lock the shutter open and had to hold the release button down....guess I should have figured that out before I headed out into the dark...)
