Girls Lunch

A lovely fine day with plenty of winter sun and a cool gentle breeze. A day for my Mum to catch up with Daughter A and Daughter E, a day of chats over a delicious lunch or brunch for some of us. We chose a quiet cafe out at Pegasus with fine food and a warm relaxing environment. We could see the lake from which I've taken many a sunrise. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Before leaving home this morning I had a wander round the garden, totally amazed by the beautiful camellias in full flower so early in the season. This one was facing the east capturing the morning sun.

Tomorrow we have decided to head away for a couple of days, not sure if I'll be able to blip but will be back soon, hopefully with some great shots of Kaikoura - where the mountains reach the sea.

Off to pack a few things, a quiet night in our house with a couple of DVD's and some family time - both Daughters are in tonight, makes a nice change.
