Sports Day

A collage of my eldest warming up for his obstacle race.

He was last in his running race again, and there was tears again, but this year he picked himself up and went for race no2 which was a House event with some really fast people in and no one could tell who was first or last or when the race even finished.

#2 child, after this, and a lot of coaching this week DID BOTH HER RACES without crying, screaming, running away, hitting, scratching. In fact she did them like it was nothing out of the ordinary whatsoever and like she'd never been anxious about doing them at all and seriously what was the fuss all about folks.

And then she went to Rainbows and did her promise. In MacDonalds. Obviously a better atmosphere there than in the church hall.
