Front Door for this Month

One for the record. Zamalek, Cairo. This is the front door of my hotel, taken as I sit in the 24hr internet cafe just opposite. All very good so far. Haven't had much chance to be out and explore much yet, just a couple of streets by the hotel, but very foreign, noisy, atmospheric and just a few mins walk from the Nile. Nothing can quite prepare you for it and it's really energising to experience something so different! Was in school most of today but it was closed really, being Friday. Tomorrow I hope to get out more during the day before going back to school in the afternoon to get everything ready for day 1 of the course on Sunday! No idea what day of the week it us!
