My steed for the week

This is my wife's SUV. 4.7 V8 Vtec (yo) engine, gulps fuel like you wouldn't believe.

But it's rarely used and has a weak battery, so I used that as my excuse to run it for the week. I love driving this vehicle.

It doesn't handle (it doesn't need to), guick enough if you are rough with it, and it makes a great noise when it builds it's speed, weighs 2.5 tons, has 300bhp on tap, and a bucket load of torque.

It is a truly wonderful vehicle for just covering miles, which is what I've been doing this week with various errands.

However, with the cost of petrol it's back to the Smart car now.
