The Tyne Bridge Tower has been swathed in scaffolding and netting for ages now as they've slowly demolished it from the inside. Over the last few weeks the height as gradually reduced as they've removed the scaffolding floor by floor.

Today I noticed that the scaffolding was down and there were only three stories left. I was intrigued that the workman was carefully removing the letters of the buildings name with a crowbar and collecting them up. Later in the day I passed it again and this part of the building was almost entirely gone.

I decided to use it for my blip after seeing meancoast's missing letters!
