Men at work

This must have been a longer exposure than I thought; they were definitely there when I pressed the shutter.

The village has been granted a small allocation in this year's municipal budget to pave some of the main access road, with more funds promised for next year.

Mind you, the contractor's work rate is so glacial that I suspect by the time they've finished paving these few metres, we will be into next year and with more funds, they will be able to stay on site and just carry on with the next bit.
