A Piece of Heaven
Took a visit to Rose Hill cemetary after work. This is a cemetary here in Macon that is very old and very popular for tourists to visit and us amateur photographers. I have lived here in Macon since 1997 and this was the first time I have ever visited it.
The cemetary was established in 1840 it is beautiful, You don't see these type of head stones/monuments anymore.
The sky was beautiful and the sun just beamed down, it was hot, but it was easy to forget about the heat because of the view, the whole place was a piece of heaven, weird to say since it is a cemetary, but it's very well kept and it was easy to forget it was a cemetary, you could easily see it as a garden with statues.
I chose this photo to blip, it was one of my favorites for several reasons, but there were so many wonderful photos taken today, I'll work on them over the upcoming long weekend and share a link when they are completed. I'm also hoping to making another visit during the fall/winter months just to compare the photos.
Have a great night all!
